"The expectation that we can be immersed in suffering and loss daily and not be touched by it is as unrealistic as expecting to be able to walk through water without getting wet". Rachel N. Remen

WHO WE ARE

Dragonfly Meadows  specializes in personal and professional growth and development for RN's. LPN'S and CTA"S (and other professional caregivers*).

As a Nurse, you help others through disease, illness, trauma and death. the rewards that come from  being a professional caregiver are great, but sometimes  come at a greater cost. I know there are days when you are stressed and  nights you  don't sleep, you may wake up and think " I didn't chart that". You can be  anxious  and  irritable with your patients, coworkers and family. The caring professions have unique challenges and stressors.

I invite you to retreat, refresh, learn and  build  a "tool box' of  strategies to help  you to balance  your personal and professional life.

WHY HORSES
  • Horses are  sentient herd animals and, as such, they  have thoughts, feeling and emotions. They are also are sensitive, social, and curious. This makes them ideal for working in this area
